Business Transition Forum –
Often times when starting up or running a business, there is a written business plan that addresses several aspects; location, adequate cash and capital to start and operate, and defining a path to success. But what is less common, is an exit strategy. Manufacturers at any stage need to consider the long-term plan! The panel will address three exit scenarios – selling to family, selling to an employee(s), and selling to the market. We’ll discuss the pros and cons of each, and what you can expect in each transaction.
• Defining your objectives
• The financial plan to meet your goals
• Business valuations
• Legal considerations
• Tax concerns
• Transitioning to others
• And more!
